><p><strong>Plasmasnijden<\/strong> werd oorspronkelijk ontwikkeld voor het thermisch snijden van niet-snijmaterialen zoals hooggelegeerd staal of aluminium. Tegenwoordig wordt het proces ook gebruikt voor het zuinig snijden van laaggelegeerde staalsoorten.<\/p>\n<p>Het snijbereik voor de plasmatechnologie is afhankelijk van het materiaal en is ca. 0,8 tot 160mm dik.
